Easy and quick creation of contents

To create contents for MobileGuide, Mobile3D srl offers two different options. Mobile3D can either carry out the task as a service or provide the customer with MobileGuide CMS (Content Management System), a PC software that allows one to carry out the task quickly and easily. The latter possibility is of particular interest to those customers who want to create the contents autonomously. The main advantages of MobileGuide CMS:

Simple and efficient visual interaction style
MobileGuide CMS allows one to rapidly select the points of interest on a map and then associate multimedia contents to them. In this way, the system becomes easy and fast to use and learn, also for users without specific computer skills.

Thematic tour creation
The selected points of interest are employed to create thematic tour in outdoor environments (such as cities and natural parks) as well as indoor environments (such as museums). Each created tour can be enriched with audio and visual navigation instructions that allow the tourist to follow it without effort.

Real time preview
The information about points of interest, which is already available to the customer, can be easily adapted to be visualized by MobileGuide, thanks to the customizable templates of MobileGuide CMS. Moreover, a real time preview of how the contents will appear on the tourist's final device helps the user in the editing process.

Incremental development
MobileGuide CMS allows one to create the tours and the contents incrementally, starting from small areas (for example, a limited area of a city) and extending them to much larger areas later, following specific touristic promotion strategies.

Multiplatform export
All the contents developed by means of MobileGuide CMS, can be both exported to MobileGuide and automatically converted to be published on a web site, also in a mobile version (".mobi"). In this way, the contents can be easily browsed and downloaded from any mobile phone, also without a GPS receiver and without the MobileGuide software installed.
