3D Catalogs and Configurators on the Web

3D catalogs visualize a company’s products in interactive 3D graphics. 3D configurators go beyond and allow one to interactively combine and customize products and parts taken from 3D catalogs.

Mobile3D srl provides consultancy, design and development services in the area of 3D catalogs and configurators. The systems we develop can be distributed on optical supports (CD, DVD) as well as included on the customer’s Web site and accessed by site visitors through a standard Web browser.

3D catalogs and configurators are of great interest for several industrial domains. In particular, any company that produces (or works on) tridimensional physical objects can effectively introduce these systems in their business processes. Our technical staff can propose efficient solutions to reuse those 3D models that a company already uses in its current processes (for example, CAD models) and develop specific software components to automatically include those models in 3D catalogs and configurators on the Web.

Members of the Mobile3D srl team have worked at developing 3D configurators for companies such as Benetton Group and Snaidero Group.
